About Teeth Aligners
Quite a few individuals did not have the need or weren't able to wear braces during adolescence, but they now experience some spacing or crowding problematic areas that keep them from attaining a straight, beautiful smile. Invisible teeth orthodontic aligner trays are uniquely designed covers for the teeth made from invisible plastic or acrylic material that effectively moves teeth into alignment. Using stages of aligners over a number of months, clear teeth aligners effectively straighten mild to moderate crowded teeth and spacing irregularities for straighter, healthier teeth. Invisible aligner trays are often preferred by patients over traditional visible straightening methods since they are hardly noticed and can be set aside for eating, brushing, and flossing. Our dentists at Vista Ridge Dental Care in Erie, CO explain teeth straightening recommendations, such as clear teeth aligners during regular cleanings.
"I've been using them for 6 years now, and always get excellent care and advice. I went in for a teeth cleaning, and the hygienist took the time to explain what she was seeing, and then did an outstanding and thorough job of cleaning my teeth. Everyone has always been extremely friendly over the years."- B.D. / Google / May 03, 2019

"Just gotta say so far this place is amazing! I had taken my daughter to another dentist to get a quote for some dental work and it was outrageous! Quoted me almost 2000. I took the same quote to Vista ridge and had them evaluate her teeth and I'm only paying $15. They are super friendly and really want to help. Thank you!"- J.B. / Yelp / Apr 27, 2019

What to Expect
Each phase of clear aligners are tailored depending on the patient's existing teeth structure. Each set of aligners are manufactured based on digital X-rays, physical impressions, and photos. The individual will be provided several sets of aligning trays at their orthodontic visit and our dentists will check to see that the first set fits properly so that any tweaks can be made. Our patients generally wear the trays as many hours in a day as possible. The alignment trays should be temporarily set aside for brushing, eating, and drinking colored liquids. When one tray has been worn for a specific period of time, the next phase of trays will replace the current set during a fast appointment at Vista Ridge Dental Care.
The treatment timeframe that a patient wears each group of aligners varies based on the specific needs of each person. The progression of trays needed is typically discussed by our dentists during the consultation. The trays will be worn as often as possible until the teeth are repositioned accordingly. Evaluations at Vista Ridge Dental Care will be provided at each appointment so that the repositioning can be measured. Our dentists will help patients so they are kept informed of the ongoing progression. Once the teeth are straight, a fixed retainer will be placed on the teeth for long-lasting results.
According to the details of the patient's dental insurance benefits, a portion of the treatment may be accounted for. Our front desk staff at Vista Ridge Dental Care will talk to the patient's provider to determine their benefits and give a realistic estimate of the patient's out-of-pocket fees. Individuals who do not have dental insurance for clear aligner treatment, may consider Vista Ridge Dental Care's in-house payment plans.
